yep they run buses all the way through kent picking up fans for matchday,the "Charlton Express" its called :-)...charge something like a fiver a pop. Captured quite a few kids in my area....

they laid on free travel over kent and most off essex.it was a desperate attempt to aquire fans who would normally or support other london clubs and in particularly west ham who were in div below.fact.

What oh what are QPR doing to bring in new fans from the surrounding areas in West London?

The reason I ask is I live in Acton and just this week a huge billboard was put up at the end of my street advertising Fulham season tickets for as little as £285.

My first though was "christ Fulham advertising in Acton?, shouldn't that be QPR?

Which got me thinking, I dont think I've ever seem any QPR ad or leaflet through the door about QPR - Come to Loftus road/season tickets/fun days out - down these ways.

Are there any Signs or billboards in the bush?

Now I know season ticket prices are set to drop next season, but how are the people who dont go to QPR already supposed to become aware of such offers?

To bring in the new generation of QPR fan the club need to spread the word, and while clubs like Fulham advertise in QPR area's and QPR do nothing, the next West London generation will go elsewhere.

I know I have seen it right beside my house 'Fulham is our Family' not impressed. Seriously thinking with a couple of mates about splashing a can of white paint over the front

They would sell out every week and would bond with fellow R's for life.

FFS whats going on? We have Westfield right on our doorstep, probably the biggest shopping centre in the South of England and the club have shown us that they are offering deals for a few shops for Season ticket holders, well what about it working the other way and advertising in these stores or other stores say sports retailers etc and offering discounts to matches to get people in the door at hq or offers on season tickets etc, there must be something the club can do.

Fulham are really promoting Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and others thats the real attraction, not Fulham.

Thats why crowds are full for these games

QPR rely of the ***** Ali Russell to get new and existing fans and on the basis we have lost loads since he arrived, he has failed. Every thing he has done is rubbish and they dont have an idea how to attract new fans.

QPR need to copy what Saints do down here. They provide football coaching at all primary and infant schools as part of the curriculum, provide after school/weekend coaching at minimal cost. More often than not four or more comp tickets are available as give away's at each session and once your child is on the data base they mail out 5 to 6 times a season offering various deals. Local kids football teams are invited to look around the stadium, training ground etc and the better ones invited to play the development centre/academy teams in pre-season friendlies. Every registered youth football club and team have the opportunity to get 10 free kids tickets with every 2 adult tickets bought. Why dont QPR do something similar?

They got hold of my two lads at aged 5 but by then they were already hoops. Did struggle to keep them interested in W12 for a few years but as they got older they begin to appreciate loyalty and affiliation to one team!

Ark at us lot.Offering free tickets and shirts to local kids,to get through the door.Whatever next 6-7 £10 games a season,family of 4 for a score.Giving out rattles and flags will be next i tell thee.
