don't mind the arguments both ways, but my god its getting boring!!

poor guy does an interview, thats all. he relies what was said, okay you can disagree but its not as if SM is making up the answers.

reality is many didn't like it, because beforehand they were able to post lie after lie, innuendo after innudeno and much of it was put to bed with the interview. When people are put into a corner they come out fighting and this was more like spitting out the dummy, because it did not fit into their agendas.On the plus side, season is nearly over, looking forward to next season

If certain non offensive 'anti Paladini' posters (w12_ranger etc) are banned from this site then the whole place will become one big Paladini circle jerk, almost the polar opposite of QPR Report's board. If that's the kind of site you want Pete then it will alienate those of us who sit somewhere in the middle and you'll end up with a site as popular as QPR Report.

But obviously if anyone has threatened SM then they need to be banned and shamed - I'd be interested to know who it was.

It looks to me like you want to jump on this issue to get rid of a few people you don't like Pete, I hope that's not the case. You know full well that a lot of the arguments here are caused by your own threads and comments so are you going to ban yourself as well? Poor little SM is man enough to drink with his mates in The Weld, is man enough to travel the country following his team and is man enough to spend some quality time with his dear old uncle Gianni.

He then gets pulled up for being crushingly naive, and being caught out on some of what he's posted in the past. So he throws a hissy-fit and runs off complaining that he's been "bullied".

From what i can gather - apart from get every other snide remark from posters...he received Pms....I may be wrong...which i assume were threatening.He decided to move away from board....no great gesture, no real au revoir to all here, no big mention on other board(Unless i have missed something)

Some posters are not as thick skinned as others.Some people crave the attention of being slagged off...on a computer.The attention they don't get in real life, they achieve behind a computer.

I don't think it was because of the interview that SM got the grief. My personal belief is that he flipped his standpoint significantly after the interview to a far more "pro-GP" outlook than he'd ever indicated previously. I had a very civil exchange with him on PM regarding this a couple of weeks back. If you swim with the sharks, at some point, you're gonna get bitten, I think I said.

Whatever your viewpoint around football politics, threatening PM's are inexcusable and I hope SM comes back on here soon.
