w12 ranger, ha9 ranger is banned and has been for some time, so not getting your point?

Not getting my point well let me spell it out to you.

HA9 Ranger has been banned for 4/5 weeks yet you tolerated his threatening behaviour for a long time.

Don't worry though as its just that sort or response from you which made me make sure I copied in the likes of SPC and BCC other posters at the same time as PMing you.

You know the irony of this is HA9 Ranger spent the best part of 12 months sending threatening PMs to posters, 2 off which was sent to me and directly. I brought them to your attention and other Mods alike yet it took you a lifetime to act because he was in 'your side' and only when the situation became imposible to deal with did you ban him indefinately.

You wasn't a Mod at the time mate, PM's were sent to the likes of MYU, Scott Jones & Pete, this is going back quite some time and just before Xmas as well I think.

I don't doubt other posters recieved a similar response as well.

never knew about those ones...but as i said i acted straight away and a ban was the result.

Pete, I'm glad to hear that you are clamping down on those who choose to make threatening posts or PM's. They are the type of pond life that this once great site could do without. Those who have threatened SM should be ashamed of themselves!

But would add Ha9ranger is banned, so if it did happen its now stopped. Some others will now go on the same path as like you say "its been going on far too long".

shame as his dedication to supporting the club is unquestionable,you should take whatever steps necessary to make SM feel he can post on the board,its your board at the end of the day...threatening people via PM or at games is pathetic and although you and I will always disagree,on this occasion you are spot on. There's a fine line between online banter, and it spilling over into stuff like this.
Personally, I'm not interested in the GP/politics stuff, but I know plenty are. And I understand that.

But I honestly believe that there was nothing loaded or crafty in what SM posted... he just took an opportunity to ask questions, and posted what he was told.
What people think of the subject of his interview is up to them... I'm not a "GP Fan", nor do I hate the bloke, but it looks to me like SM has been caught in some crossfire here, and doesn't deserve anything personal aimed at him.

If you're reading this SM, chin up, and just stick to following your football team all over the country.

Board room section is back, so the 3-4 can argue in there and if a thread goes into a different direction, it will simply be moved.

Because the latest ploy is to start a thread with something else and then put it in the post.

Think you will find several posters slowly dissapearing, but not just because of what has happened to SM.

Personally i think it is a subject that should be debated and left on the main board to be debated.It;s Pete's board however and he makes the choices.

Is Pete interested in what has happened to SM or is he more concerned about how many posters just recently have been pushing the anti GP movement .Good arguements from both camps that sadly have decsended into rather playground rants.

I think i have probably posted more today than i have in last ### years but feel Pete needs to have a look and sort this mb out(Just my opinion).Too many double standards etc, which winds up certain posters.Think i will join SM back on the dot org board.

don't mind the arguments both ways, but my god its getting boring!!

poor guy does an interview, thats all. he relies what was said, okay you can disagree but its not as if SM is making up the answers.

reality is many didn't like it, because beforehand they were able to post lie after lie, innuendo after innudeno and much of it was put to bed with the interview. When people are put into a corner they come out fighting and this was more like spitting out the dummy, because it did not fit into their agendas.

On the plus side, season is nearly over, looking forward to next season

We disagree on many things, but sure we would have a pint. trouble is many would not, thats not what a supporting a club like ours should be like
