Well, they got us a point at Preston.
    3 points at S****horpe.
And probably several other points if you track back his assists.
And to even dream that Taarabt is no better than the rest of our squad is, frankly, baffling.
Whilst his attitude may be debatable, his talent is unquestionable.

i would also ask you how many points we may of picked up if he had released the ball before losing it or firing it into row z. it may be if, buts and maybes but his attitude is getting in the way of his talent.

          do i want to see:

          a) taarabt try and nutmeg someone using his great talent
          b) leighterwood pass the ball to the other team
          c) rowan vine attempting to carry his weight around the pitch
          d) watch stewart ping the ball 100 miles into space
          e) watch ageymang lose the ball 10 times because of his first touch

          me thinks a

            Every player occasionally miscues.
But the number of players who can do well what he does well is a minority.
He is still one of the major reasons why we are staying up.
Give him a chance to grow up -- at 20 he might look like a man but he's still a boy, and needs good role models around him and quality mentoring to help him make his mark effectively on the adult world -- like any 20 year old starting out.

a for me. Although I think his success rate is generally higher than that, especially if he's not being stamped and kicked from the off (like Watford did to him).

i will choose option f which is save money on taarabts transfer fee and wages and bring in an established creative player that doesn't have the attitude of a four year old

                    Like who?
Who would you bring in that is a) better than Taarabt and b) cheaper than Taarabt?
Because either of those would be far out of our price league.
The best gifted players ARE temperamental!! It 's almost part of their job description!!
I remember a number of times when Bowles was described as just that -- would we have shipped him off? And he would try a lot of tricks which wouldn't come off -- but when they did, we all loved him for it.
Combined with Taarabt's immaturity (which seems perfectly in keeping with a lot of 20 year old lads) he will have an attitude. But he will grow up and develop as a person and a player.

Yes, it's been a whole 15 months since Emmanuel Ledesma left...

                              better in what way?

can do more stepovers? not needed
can nutmeg a player on the half way line? not needed
can set up a chance? many players in the championship
                              can score? same as above

                                No probs lads.

Regardless what you think of Taarabt, hes gone now and pending on Warnocks funds and Taarabts decision in the summer, he might or may not be back - I doubt it from Cookies body language although he did say he knew nothing and shrugged his shoulders. He wouldn't comment on Simpson staying either. Unless there are better players outside the premiership, who you think we can get and would want to come to QPR, please suggest cause I think you'd struggle....

Last game of the season for me tomorrow and I hope the lads actually play decent football cause the Geordie game will be a sunny stroll in the park!!

Bring on London Masters football at Wembley 24th July, lets see the Rss defend their London trophy...
