Isn't a large chunk of the £3.5m figure a sell on fee (so that we would need to recoup that or pass it on if we sell him)? I am one of his admirers but if that is included and rangers still want to make money (which presumably they must or why sell) he is getting quite expensive for what many would think a pretty untested talent. This story seems largely driven by his agent. The same one who says he is going in this week to renegotiate his wages. Not tricky to see why he'd want his clients other suitors puffed up a bit is it. I think that's all that is going on here.
