No chance will it be there.

Latymer don't need the money and they need the facilities for their school.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Wonder if they have considered the old training ground in North Ealing the old Barclays bank facilities. I believe the site is now free and up for sale.

From memory there were 6 or 7 pitches, one of which was a floodlit artificial one, swimming pool, ample car parking and decent sized accommodation facilities for a gym and changing rooms and more.

I would guess everything there would be ready to rock and roll, as the structure is all in place, it would just need modernising to our tastes

If it were me I'd buy Barclays on Hanger Lane straight away.

                    A quality facility already.

QPR know this place inside out as we actually paid for the artificial pitch and floodlights plus changing facilities upgrade when we used to use it back in the good old bad old days. Had portacabins there where all the physio work was done and all youth games plus some reserve games where there.

This place has around 8 grass pitches, 4 grass tennis courts and some hard courts plus an indoor 5 a side hall, smaller gym hall, an outdoor pool, great changing rooms with old style plunge baths and two good bars on 1st floor with a commercial kitchen and canteen area.
There's office space and squash courts and a fair bit of parking

Could you find a more ideal place in the West London area 15 minutes from the ground.

Very tired and in need of a refurb but prime still.

I'm not an estate agent but live close to the place and would buy the drum and offer QPR a cheap lease if I won the lottery.

                    Go get it Amit.
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

Maybe it's a temporary measure before turning it into the new location for a new stadium for us. Hmmmmm

They certainly did. A good friend of mine is the head of Sport at the school and he was telling me that last summer QPR were using it for a bit for their pre season training.

It's used often by top rugby touring sides who are playing England at Twickenham.

New Zealand and Australia have been there recently.

Glaxo are selling up and their Sports and social club have amazing grounds and would be perfect for a training ground, as everything is there, catering, offices and privacy.

Perhaps the "Northala fields"? They could get some practice hoofing the ball over those ugly cone/hill-things which could be handy for next year on recent evidence. (I can't believe, by the way, people were duped into accepting those "mounds" or whatever they call them as noise breakers when they were actually a cheap way of dumping the rubble from rebuilding Wembley. Champion bit of spin!).

Somewhere near Ruislip (again) would make most sense. No sense in commuting any further into town. Wealdstone FC have taken what would have been a good spot. There seems a few sites about if they are going to be about building the facilities (which they'll have to do for the academy status). If piggybacking someone else's existing facilities then I'm not sure. Where do Ruislip RFC train?
