  • Hogan, Vine and Leigterwood........

I can't take watching you 3 anymore. F**k off in the summer!

What do you offer the side?

Hogan - you're a winger but offer no width. You don't cross. You have no pace.

Vine - what are you good at anymore?

Leigterwood - bar the odd last ditch tackle once again you excelled yourself with a terrible first touch and yet again woeful passing and distribution.

I am not a big fan of Ramage, but although the defence were not really threatened by Watford he did his job well.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

We'll have you on Ramage Road soon Dave. You can't say he's not been brilliant at CB. I always said he was a good defender. Not the best footballer, but in the air and in the tackle he's quality. He's definately got a place next season.

Hogan I like, but even I'm starting to lose patience as I am with Vine. Past merrits can't keep him (Vine) in the side. Every now and then he shows glimpses of what he's capable of, then he'll put in a poor cross, lose the ball or run into a dead end. He's simply not good enough anymore which is a shame, but next season, there's no room for passengers.

Legs offers us more than you credit him for though mate. He's got some great attributes, but a few bad ones too. Promotion material? No, but not as poor as you make out. I agree...he'll have to go if we're to improve.
    Your mum would love me...

I cant work Vine out he done one good move last night maybe he has no confidence at the moment Hogan is very young still but i cant see him improving we should never have sold routlidge to be honest and as for Leigterwood i think he would be a lot better if we take the pressure of him and remove the captaincy from him
Dyslexic so please don't feel the need to correct my spelling mistakes as I really don't give a **** and before you say use spell checker if it is spelt right / wright but not in context spell check is useless

in my opinion Legs isn't offering anything as captain anyway. May as well give it to Rambo.

Bit harsh on legs I think. I think he is a good squad player to have......not sure about captaincy though.

Hogan....I thought league 1 originally was his standard, thinking league 2 now

in defence of hogan.. warnock was constantly waving him INSIDE when we had the ball.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
            Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

Perhaps it is precisely because he did his job well that the defence wasn't really threatened by Watford.
