Balotelli is a good comparison.

For people who dont know who he is he plays for Inter. Has the talent to be one of the worlds best. But he is a nutter lol....Turnt up to a inter game once without a club suit but with a AC Milan shirt. Always falling out with Jose, had a falling out with the fans today and every other week. Like Adel he is great to watch.

Balotelli plays for Internazionale. Despite years of trouble with him, they keep him and play him, despite the idiocy he displays and him not apologising to Mourinho when Mourinho had apologised to him earlier in the season. He has had a myriad of personal problems (parents had him adopted when he was three) and is racially abused at every Serie A game he plays (the chant is something along the lines of "There are no black Italians, so f**k off you monkey". He is a rare talent that Inter believe is worth perserving with.

Taarabt is a Spurs player loaned out twice to a side in the bottom half of the league below. Has been dropped and had words with Jol, Comolli, Ramos, Allen, Redknapp, Sousa, Magilton and Harford and still the message doesn't get home.

Taarabt has the potential to be a decent performer at PL level. Maybe he just doesn't have the discipline or attitude to carry it through.

when he came off attacking wise we had nothing
as soon as taraabts taking out of the game we looked unnafective do people not reolise when hes not on how much he holds the ball to create runs, plays.

i sit very close to players reactions he doesnt look fully fit and remeber again hes normaly got two players man marking him giving digs all game ie eustace and the other lump they have

Awful game, but our attacking options were virtually nil once Adel went off.

As Warnock has said, he's pretty much built the side around Adel to get the points necessary to stay up. Maybe next year NW will bring players in to play a different style (I think we know what that means - Big at back / up front and hard working, giving everything for the cause all over the team).
So maybe the young, petulant protige will be better off elsewhere.

If he was the finished article, he would not be plying his trade with us in the lower reaches of the Championship. He'd be starring week in, week out in the Prem or Abroad and touted for £15m transfers.

I backed him big time after Saturday, and still do. But if true and he wanted to come off because of the pen and not getting his own way, that's wrong.
I can't defend that, and won't. I guess we'll find out how injured he was in the next 2 games.

For me, bottom line is I hope we don't sign Priskin instead of him though.....
