Fair play for finding that attendance table, but that doesn't make them a bigger club. Especially cause its been boosted by the Premier League years of the neutral end and japanese tourists packing out the Cottage. The fact is that their woeful away support shows they have a very small hardcore fanbase who are genuine Fulham fans. Thats before going on to trophies, league finishes etc

Much of those figures will enhance the figures because of the last 10 years.
Yeah thats true but the fact is we were a nothing club till the 1960's good in the 70's , 80's and mid 90's and now back down again

I think anyone with half a brain will realise that if Fulham got relegated they would be getting 12-15k max on average

The sooner Hodgson gets snapped up and Fulham return to their natural level, the better. Some of these are getting too big for their boots.

Quote from a Chelsea fan (bleurgh)

              Scurvy,

we view QPR in a similar light to Fulham, insignificant little clubs that hate us but who we care little about. This hatred seems to have grown since the 90s, as in the 70s and 80s Chelsea would take up the whole ground home and away. Would imagine it would be quite a tasty fixture if we were to play QPR again though, maybe similar scenes to those when there was fighting on the pitch at Craven Cottage a few years ago?

I personally hope they come up and take Fulhams place, bigger club really.

Am I right that there is a Fulham Fan trying to give us stick on here? I`ve heard it all now. For a team doing so well, They have Terrible away support. If that was us, we could sell our away allocations 4 times over wherever we went.

                          Chelsea
                          Fulham
                          QPR
                          Brentford

It will change if we have success - QPR will be better-supported than Fulham - who have hundreds of 'just Premiership' supporters out there who don't actually support Fulham at all....

Historically Fulham actually have higher average attendances 15351 to our 13185.

Fulhams attendances have grown at an impressive rate as well

                            1997/98: 9,004
                            1998/99: 11,387
                            1999/00: 13,092
                            2000/01: 14,985
                            2001/02: 19,389
                            2002/03: 16,707 (at Loftus Road)
                            2003/04: 16,342 (at Loftus Road)
                            2004/05: 19,838
                            2005/06: 20,654
                            2006/07: 22,279
                            2007/08: 23,774

Comparing attendances post war is interesting

                            QPR http://www.european-football-statist...tnclub/qpr.htm

                            Fulham http://www.european-football-statist...nclub/fulh.htm

My conclusion is we have a more loyal fan base than Fulham, but I'm sorry to say at present they are a bigger than us averaging 10000 more each week.

                              Next question?

While you're thinking of one that doesn't make you look foolish and lacking in knowledge, see if you can spot yourself in this picture.
                              Shouldn't take long.

Fulham fans are the ones nearest the camera, in case of confusion.
That's a cup game at Manchester City, this season.
Accrington Stanley take more then that away! (Best away fans i have seen btw!)
In 'Arry and Fernandes we trust

                              :yush:

i know plenty of people who go to fulham just for the football. they are not fulham supporters and couldn't care less if fulham win or lose.

their away support shows how many core fans there are.
