I really would love to be, but even I've had the stuffing knocked out of me, but the more he says it, the more it convinces me that we mean business

I'm hopeful.
But I've learned over the past couple of seasons that talk is cheap.
And we've been all talk.
It's different now, but I'll still judge on actions, rather than big talk from now on.Final Version - Hope you like it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1z0UQ0eqRM

We have been saying this for 2 seasons now:
De Canio - Excited about the list of players coming in
Dowie - Over the moon with transfer targets
Sousa - Highly excited about the players coming in next summer
Magilton - Impressed with the list of players shown him
And now Warnock!

I'll wait and see until we make a few signings before I get carried away. Yes, I'm excited for next season, but that's due to the hope that has once again been passed our way. I do believe this time we'll put our plans into action, but I don't think anyone can say they are 100% certain we will buy all these great CCC players to get us out of this league.
Next season could be the best chance we'll ever get as the teams coming down won't be half as strong as Newcastle and West Brom.Your mum would love me...

I feel this towards the end of every disapointing season. Now we know we are safe and have nothing to win...we start to look at next season.
Football fans tend to be optimistic about new seasons when it's all they have nothing left for the current season.
