  • Hooper to Ipswich?

All paper talk, of course... but I'd be surprised if there wasn't a decent queue of clubs looking at him. Including us.

I'd say he comes into the catagory of "proven goalscorer in this league" now?

        Depends on his contract.
If he had 2/3 years left, he'd be priced at about £1.5m, I'd imagine. Maybe £2m.

But Hooper has only one year left, so you're looking at less.

Total guess, but I'd say about 6/700k. ish?

Like we were much more likely than Blackpool to land Coleman from Everton,?

TBH mate I wouldn't count your tickets just yet, Warnock might not be every players cup of tea, and I would expect Ipswich to be a lot stronger despite having keano at the helm

warno v keano - as a player you know neither are going to be wilting violets.

on the championship programme leroy rossenior was saying he was sure s****horpe wd have to cash in on him at the end of the season as he is clearly destined for a bigger club. if he wd be a genuine warno signing id be delighted. saw his hat trick and i particularly liked the goal when he battled the ball back from a defender - you can't see any of our boys doing that, ever.

16 league goals this season, in a struggling side.

Sign him up, hopefully he'll be attracted to the bright lights LDN town rather than the farmland of East Anglia!

He's one I would like to see us get, still young but proven goalscorer.
