  • Top 3 Best and Worst Moments of Season

Doubt anything special will happen in the 3 remaining games!

    Best
    1. The 3 games in mid-October. Destroyed all in our paths, scoring 12 in 4 games and things were really looking up.

    2. Palace away, we showed real fight and was a great atmosphere and we turned up when it really mattered.

    3. The boardroom shuffle, getting in Ishan and getting rid of Flavio, coupled with the appointment of Warnock.

    Worst
    1. Harford's tenure. 8 games, 1 win, 1 draw, 6 defeats (including 5 in a row)

    2. Losing 1-5 to Middlesbrough. Just thoroughly embarrassing performance, and that c u next tuesday Lita giving us the ****ing run around and taking the **** basically.

    3. Our disastrous transfer policy. Selling Routledge to Newcastle, bringing in Quashie, Bent, Pellicori, Hill etc

                    Best:
                    1-Flavio going No1 without doubt.
2-The fact we have produced generally great performances when playing the top teams in this divison.
3-The fact we found a team that would take Agyemang on loan for a few months (chuckles)

                    The worst:
1-Our transfer policy.....it was to be polite, amateur and stank of ulterior motives. In Lehmans terms...it was efing PONY!!!!
2-The fact it was imo the one season 'i nearly didnt give a crap anymore' in my 41 years of going.
3-The fact we have produced generally great performances when playing the top teams in this divison.(makes you think of what may have been and makes it even harder to take the shambles this club has been).
                    4-GP leaving........well, we can hope.

                        I'm going for

                        Best Moments

                        1. Connolly's strike against Blackpool - and the way we rebounded in the second half. Fantastic performance.
                        2. Beating Palace at their gaff. Never seen it before. Buz's strike and the celebration that followed equally magical.
                        3. Going to Cardiff and dominating them 2-0. Should have been 7. Magical.
                        4. THAT run in October. 12 goals, 4 games. Battering everybody. The confidence was high...

                        Worst Moments

                        1. The realisation after losing 5-1 at home to Middlesborough that we had no Plan B with Jim Magilton. It suddenly became obvious that when you closed down our most creative players, we were basically ****ed, as Leicester did in the second half of the 2-1 Friday night loss.
                        2. The 3-1 loss at Watford. Magilton had lost the changing room. The club was once again returning to laughing stock status. Agyemang not even bothering to celebrate giving us the lead wasn't great. Giving away 3 **** goals after that was even worse.
                        3. The loss at Peterborough. Dear God. It still gives me nightmares.
                        4. The 5-1 home humiliation by Middlesborough. I wasn't there when Arsenal humiliated us 6-0 at home in the FA Cup, so this was the lowest point since Earnshaw and Cardiff stuffed us 4-0 at home.

It's been an eventful season. Now let's hope we get 9 points in the next 3 games and spur ourselves onto better things next year!!!
