  • Penalty Appeal?

Just wanted to clear this up as of a petty dispute between mates and myself! I think it was at 0-0, about 5 mins before the Cardiff goal?

Now was it me, when Taarabt was booked, i could have sworn after beating 3 players and being through on goal, that their player took his legs away? Or was the ref right and it was a dive?

Just wanted to clear it up as i thought it looked a clear cut penalty

to me it looked like a penalty (from lower loft) but the ref probably thought tarrabt dived which got him the yellow card

Hard to tell, if it was a dive though it was a solid 9/10.

Gotta say it looked like a Blatant dive from where i was ( x block) Ellerslie road.

Me too, but none of our players (Taarabt included) protested much.
That said, neither did any of theirs make any diving hand signs.

If that was how it happened, wouldnt he (and other players) have gone absolutely mental? No protest really from him as I recall, so I think he was bang to rights.

Defo dive sitting in R block , he had taken on 2 players then lost control of the ball and as that happened he went over and deservedly so got a yellow , never a pen , ref got it 100% right

                          Dived. Deserved the yellow.

Baltant dive and rightfully booked for cheating.
