To me it's because we don't actually like these players.
Furlong, Gallen and Bircham were hardly as talented as Tarrabt, but they were likeable and hard working and people who we wanted to freeze our nuts off on a Boxing day at Plymouth for.
We have times where we get a quick buzz, when Tarbs nutmegs or sidesteps a player, but if ou have committed hard working players who are characters the fans are going to want to chant their names.
If we chant Tarrabts name he'll probably force the kitmakers to write 'GOD' on the back of his shirt, look at all the 'little people' and then move onto barcelona where his talents can defeat Messi and Iniesta
and Quaz I don't know why this has been debated so much when that line obviously shows our difference. I don't think they have to be like that. If you're good at something, are you forced to be an arrogant s*it? Barca are so good because if they make mistakes, they apologise to each other and recognise their failures. They want to be the best they can be, and that competitiveness makes them great. If they thought they were God when they first started off I doubt they would have got to the level that they're at now
    .
lol funniest thing I have read in a while.....The barca players know they are the best in the world. Ibrahimovic is one of the worlds most arrogant players. Iniesta & Xavi KNOW they are the 2 best Centre mids in the world...Dani Alves plays with a swagger knowing no other right back in world football is as good. Messi has a good attitude, but who knows when he goes home I bet he polishes every trophy he has thinking I am the best.

When people talk of not wanting to see a player in a QPR shirt again, this is the man that those kind of comments should be associated with. A complete waste of space. No chance in the world Warnock will sign him. Think he has had one decent game since being here.
In which case why is Warnock persisting with him?

Is that the $64000 question or what?

Fantastic report Saffa, as always. I am a very very angry middle aged man today, the treatment by some of Adel is nothing short of pathetic and really see no way he will stay at the club when he clearly feels so aggreived by them.
Well done to all those that booed, you will got what you deserve but unfortunately drag us with you.

Cheers for the report Saff. Adel is clearly going to divide QPR fans. Seems he's our marmite player. And I'm firmly on the like side
