I wouldn't be concerned if we didn't sign either of them, there are much better players out there, and in more urgent areas, like strikers and defenders. I don't see how Ambrose offers us more than we already have. As for Speroni, his lack of height is a concern. As for the "war chest", you wouldn't go into a shop and declare how much you have in your pocket to spend, if you don't want to pay over the odds for a product.Last edited by rangersroar; 16-04-2010, 02:17 PM.

We must not over pay.
The only way that you guys will be getting Ambrose, Speroni, Danns and Clyne is if we are still in administration come the Summer and CPFC 2010's bid doesn't materialize. If it does, we'd be under no pressure to sell to a divisional(hopefully) rival.
Even having said that, and we are forced to sell, I doubt said four players would want to move sideways at best to you.

Speroni is taller than the best keeper in the world.

He has not said that at all - what he has said (and it's stating the bleedin obvious really) is that we currently have far too many loans.
Any Club at our level should use the loan system wisely and to their advantage - so keep up please everyone - and expect common sense and logic in Warnock's use of the system next season!!
I remember someone on here said"no more loans" next season. And the source was the club.QPR

If QPR don't spend a reasonable amount on transfers, they can forget about winning automatic promotion and will just have to challenge for a place in the play-offs lottery along with 10-12 other sides.
Look at this season's promoted sides, Newcastle and WBA, relegated sides who have bounced straight back up.
The play-offs will include big spending Forest along with Cardiff, who over the last few seasons have spent decent money on players, such as Chopra, Whiitingham, Hudson, McCormack, Burke, as opposed to QPR's freebies and loan signings splattered with a few has beens.
Middlesboro may still make it into the play-offs.
