Gary Borrowdale will remain with League One side Charlton Athletic until the end of the season.

The defender's initial loan period officially ended earlier today, but the two Clubs have now reached agreement to extend the deal until May 29th.

Borrowdale has been a regular in the Charlton back four since his move to The Valley in mid-March, making six appearances in the third tier.

Under the terms of the loan deal, Borrowdale is eligible to play in the League One Play-Off's, should Charlton - who currently lie in fourth place - finish the campaign in the top-six.

Let's hope he signs for them. Another average player who will not make us progress and move forward next season.
