I actually agree with Chris and Nodge on this one.

This is the main reason I hated playing in the ryman league.

I was always a centre back that had composure and then play the simple ball.
Connolly is the type of defender I like to encourage. Lets hope he has more luck with injurys and sickness.

Thats why I dont like him or that type of gaffa Ric...Winds me up to see the game played like that. Obviously we cant get the superstars, I know that...but **** me it winds me up to see players like stewert making a nice living playing how he does.

If I had it my way warnock, alladyce, pullis, etc would be sent to live on the moon.

To be fair I don't think anyone can say that Stewart is NOT very VERY lucky to earn a decent living from something he is not very good at. I know there are plenty of players out there but I do think the hoofers really do come under this bracket.

Yer we can hope for a ball playing defender like Puyol but the fact there are so few of them is because they can win headers and challenges against anyone. Any centre back capable of passing a ball at this level will not be able to handle the likes of Parkin or iwelumo. How many times have we lost sloppy goals due to playing huge centre forwards. Who else was praying to the lords that Alan Lee only managed 20 minutes against us?
