If they had dropped 15% with a following 5% with the club likely to sell the 9000 then I would have said yes. I always have a holiday and miss 2 league home games, so I just don't see the point plus I sometimes get a few freebies. If we make it to the premiership then I am willing to pay 900 pounds for a season ticket.
Sort of. I just bought a couple but I have only had a couple of years "off" the season so I hardly count as a lost sheep. What actually persuaded me was the financial logic. I still go to most games but end up paying the higher prices by buying them individually. And all these freebies people go on about have been just as pointless for me in that position as they have been for ST holders - they always tout them as last minute deals after the usual suspects (like me) have bought their tickets so I've not had a look in on any of those deals either. Turns out I spent more doing it this way this year than the ST would have cost. So pretty simple. Plus I admit I am pretty optimistic about next year. But that is nothing new.
Im not renewing........ had a season ticket for 6 years but will just pick and choose next season... still dont think its value for money but especially not for us travelling from leeds.... petrol has gone up loads and that is now £65 a trip.....
Can't see it myself, never saw any movement last season and I think we could get close to 9,000 for the following reasons (only my opinion)
Will be in the Championship
Mittals takeover - speculated player investment
Warnock
There seems to be a buzz returning
So I for one will be renewing for the 15th consecutive season
So will I, but i think more people will pay game by game based on the simple fact that if they miss 2 games due to illness or work, they will be out of pocket. Add to that the f ing promotions the club love doing, why bother getting a ST.
Edit: If they are doing well, you can but a ST at anytime.
il be there. I honestly think itll be a much betetr season this coming year! I always say that, but this time Warnock is in, and Flavio is out - things are looking on the up!

Because for many, it isn't all about price?
People might think that the price isn't great, but they want their own seat in a part of the ground they're happy with, and sitting with family/people they know every week.
They might be looking forward to the team next year - the football.
Not saying it's a great deal, but it's not all about money/value.
Having not bought one last year for the first time in a number of years, I am now considering one for next season. However, I will probably wait to see what sort of investment will be made in the playing squad before purchasing. Talk is cheap, and we've all heard before about how money will be invested without too much happening. If the board invest some cash, then so will I.
Otherwise, it's back to match day tickets.....
