I thought Base was just an umbrella organisation, with the individual agents being freelance. Therefore the fact that players come via Base is meaningless. If however they had all come via the same agent that would be a different matter.

Spot on. The whole base soccer argument has well and truly died. The point has already been bought up and covered.

They are the one of the largest football organisations there is. Every team in the country will have players signed via base-soccer... And I bet they don't even think about it - only at QPR.

It is an umbrella organisation as such with the agents (sole traders) linked into Base - Base will take a percentage cut from each agent/deal/club/player when the deal is made. Benefits the agents as they are associated with a "named" agency, drawing in higher profile players and clubs to their services etc.

Agents who are with Base will also have player who are on their "own" books in addition to those linked to Base.

Base Soccer is a franchise which holds details for the majority of players. But if you are saying we cannot have players like Clyne and Danns because of it, then I guess you are in the minority.

Forest have done well with Base this season, but don't let facts get in the way of fiction.

So, to put it simply, those that want to take this crusade forward into and beyond next season have their ammunition all laid out in front of them.

We buy, say Clyne - obviously a Warnock option - he is a Base Client = Muggy GP has his hand in the till and NW was told that was the player to buy (by GP) because of the connection and on we go...................I can't wait
