You have a point.
I think the whole GP debate needs to be looked at by boardroom level.
Flav was useless but Gp was part of the circus.
He may love the club but he has made some major mistakes where most people would get sacked but I just don't think we need him. He is just another waisted wage bill.

And now we've employed a scout surely he's surplus to requirements?
Like you say he's a wasted wage bill which is costing the club, and he has proven himself to have no integrity. Not the sort of character I want associated with my club. Doesn't bear thinking about if his lose lips cost Warnock a transfer target! They'd be hell to pay! Better he goes now I think.
Well I got the impression from the Platinum Evening that GP is regarded as a bit of a joke figure by the management team.
Mick Jones sits in the W12 Club instead of on the bench which is where Warnock and Curle are, this is the way MJ & NW have always worked. MJ sits at the back of W12 and relays info to NW as and when. MJ said he couldn't sit next to GP because he would do his nut (f-ing and blinding no doubt).
At the Platinum Evening MJ stated that the fact that we had no Chief Scout at the club for 6 years meant our club has been playing an extremely dangerous game, this period pretty much coincides with Paladinis tenure at the club.
IMO Paladini will leave the club this summer, I like to think The Mittals are slowly ousting him behind the scenes as GP uses his share holding at the club to cling onto a job. Neil Warnock does not suffer fools gladly and I can't see him allowing Paladini any input into this summer transfer activities. I also got the impression that Warnock & Co report directly to The Mittals. No doubt Pete will been along in a minute banging his drum about how The Mittals must value GP and thats why he is still in a job so he must be adding some value but then again so is Ali Russell so I think that argument is flawed......just my opinion off course.

He's pretty much seen as a joke my the majority of the fanbase also, which begs the question - what is he still doing at the club?
I seriously hope you're right about him being pushed out this summer. We cannot go forward with him at the club.
I hear the Platinum evening was attended by about 20 fans, not sure thats a true reflection on the majority of fans
Well I know half a dozen fans who were there and they all thought the same, unfortunatley they don't post so you'll have to take my opinion on face value, I know what I heard.
There was approx 35-40 fans at the evening as well so you heard wrong.
