they've also factored in that whatever deals they do during the season, that ST's stay value for money.

Yes they are - but have you been there or ever compared the cost of living between Lancs and W12?

We have to be realistic guys, the cost of keeping a Club afloat in West London (especially if they do start to invest in quality players) is way above similar in Preston - even if the owners are mad rich.

it's the fact they've taken into account that ST's will always be the lowest option, even above special deals.

"Preston North End have announced their season ticket pricing for the 2010/11 season, including a radical overhaul of matchday pricing, which sees adult season ticket holders getting approximately five games free across all stands and children as many as ten games free in their package!

Season tickets will go on sale on Tuesday 4th May from 9am with current season ticket holders' seats reserved until close of business on Wednesday 30th June.

Season ticket prices see a small increase across the board for the first time in three years and chairman Derek Shaw explains that this increase is a necessity for the Club's efforts to achieve its ambition of a place in the Premier League."

            Question
If Preston can get to the premier league on those prices, why cant we ?

But the singing area could be in the Loft, as it always used to be.
Moving the family area isn't going to cost the club, and might get that 'rowdy' bunch(!) all sitting somewhere where the singing would have more impact.
And it doesn't stop there -- people in other areas could sing too.

And it's not a matter of how many, or how much, in terms of support it really is WHERE in the ground certain groups sit.
We will never get the Lower Loft singing while it's a family stand -- the kids just DON'T, and their parents are often too busy minding the kids to sing. Not their fault, they're breeding the fan base of the future -- but it's not the group to have behind the goal.
