Be interesting to see if the stewards/police make the same balls up they made at the Swansea game.
If the Cardiff fans are let out onto the street immediately after full time, like the Swansea fans were, there will be worse trouble.
They have to keep the away fans in the ground for at least 15 minutes, and allow the home fans with kids, families to get away before the sh*t starts.
Not sure if that's a police decision, or a QPR decision. Or both?Final Version - Hope you like it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1z0UQ0eqRM

So I went and spoke to the head steward by the entrance to Upper Loft - guess what, he said it's down to the local Police Commissioner but then his mate said it was down to the Club.
What a surprise, everyone says it's down to everyone else - pathetic really.
And as for human rights - don't get me started.
It is my human right to take my kids to a football match without them getting stuck in the middle of that pile of turd.
Pretty sure we got kept in on Saturday - though we were down the front and it may have just been congested? But certainly have been held back at plenty of grounds - it is the only sensible decision on Saturday but it won't happen - so (for the first time in my 35 + years of watching Rangers, I will be off before the final whistle just to get the lad away from certain carnage!!Last edited by Goddard; 12-04-2010, 01:16 PM.#standuptocancer

Once he established why I asked the question his answer was that it was down to the stewards (lofl) but thought it was no longer aloud as it was a breach of the away fans human rights to keep them in.

They wash their hands of anything that happens outside the stadium, and hand that little problem over to the police.
If people want to "have it", that's up to them... can't stop it.
But for home fans with kids, it seems the club are more concerened about their stewards getting a few verbals from CCFC fans, than protecting families from the mayem that WILL happen on SA Road at about 4.50pm on saturday.
That's not scare-mongering, it's just the way it is.
I know that the ordinary coppers don't understand, or appreciate why they are being put in this position by their bosses, and QPR. Especailly after the Swansea game... and the Cardiff fans will try and out-do what their rivals did.
And Rangers fans aren't shy either.
Buck passing and naivity that they will regret, IMO.Final Version - Hope you like it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1z0UQ0eqRM

Easy - I think you sum things up well and sadly I will be leaving before the end which is the saddest thing about the whole thing. I've been taking the lad for three seasons now and you look at the match day experience in a totally different way - but he already loves Rangers and hates to miss any games home or away - so the other option of not taking him just aint going to happen.
One good thing is ow he's experienced it close up (after Swansea) he might just be bright enough to avoid it when he gets a bit older! And at least he didn't have to go through the 70's and 80's like some of us did#standuptocancer

Bluehoop what stand do you sit in? If SA road if I was you I'd plot up by the windows upstairs that look out onto SA road after the game & watch the carnage unfold...then when things have chilled a bit get on your way. Personally I will be steaming around the bush belting anything with a dragon on-only kidding

Cardiff aint had a decent result at our place since the beat us 4-0 on that Friday night game if my memory serves me well. and as for their plankton life supporters, Don`t bite off more than you can chew on saturday will ya? MUGS.
In all honesty The Police should be making the relevant competant decisions that would minimise any risk of `trouble, whether that is keeping the fans in or Ordering an early kick off or changed the game to a sunday (which they had time to do after the swansea debacle) Prevention of Trouble is THEIR business, but my guess is that the same will happen as swansea, and they will probobly let it happen, film it and then make "swooping dawn arrests" in a couple of months or so on `hard core hooligan firms conspiring to cause mahem and widescale affray`. Which is the MET`s forte. Its standard fact for our Fair MET boys. I`m Very Pro Police but i know what they can do. Frustrating all around.
But, I think That The R`s will come out on top!!

there will be trouble 100% saturday and expect cardiff up early and in numbers.
like sjoke bullies they will lash out at any man, woman, child or beast.
so many excuses....if the club WORRY FOR STEWARDS SAFETY WHY ARE STEWARDS SO MOUTHY, AGGRESSIVE AND KEEN TO DRAG OUT AND MANHANDLE US???
police may just close off streets like after millwall game, which means going the long way round and no one passes thru....?

Sad to admit I wasn't so grown up in the past but kids change you and I don't want him to think it's the way forward - even though he already hates the ducking Welsh after Swansea.#standuptocancer

Post match you can avoid it all by plotting up in the Blue & White for 20 minutes.
Pre-match a bit more difficult unless the OB wrap 'em up and walk 'em down from the Green as they seem to do all the time now.
I actually think the OB love it just as much as the boys who play the games, reckon they always have!I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.
