dans did power forward well and get into good positions but not much composure then. the main thing for me yesterday was warnock played more of a rangers team (Buz, Cerny and Tosic is more than just a journeyman loaner in that he is playing for a transfer) and we looked miles, miles better. Just reminds us that we do actually have a handful of good players, some of whom are every bit as good as palace's.

ambrose and dans are pretty good imho but id rather have tarbs, faurlin and buz. clyne (right back not left back) wd be a good addition tho perfectly happy with legs at right back. and speroni is obviously a v gd keeper but ive never had a problem with cerny!

      Not impressed with Ambrose.

Plus he looks like a weasel on acid.

i wasnt impressed with ambrose. not much of a team player.. when we were bursting forward he was walking back. ive heard from a few palace lads. hes goes missing in most games, granted hes a good set peice taker but not sure if he would stand out for us.

Other than Speroni (Cerny isn't getting any younger) I'm not now convinced that what we'd get would be any better than what we've got -- our players are there, just need to be used correctly -- which happened yesterday to good effect.
I just hope NW keeps what he stumbled upon -- the CM and CD pairings which worked.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

I think Danns was their best player yesterday. Not difficult. But sometimes felt it was him against us and he had little support. Think he would be better in a better team. Namely us.

I like Cerny. Not sure if Speroni arrived how we'd accommodate both.

Think Clyne would be useful to have. Ambrose? My jury's out on that performance.

Thought Hart got it wrong yesterday. He had better players on the bench than what started against us. IMO.

I reckon we will at least try for Speroni, Cerny is OK but we need two keepers.
Also, Cerny is getting on a bit, maybe not in keeper years though.

Young Elvijs is apparently a bit of a prospect.

Been thinking the same thing myself. Although Clyne is a right-back, and Tosic is a left-back. But I think Legs can adapt to the right-back position. I am not the greatest fan of Speroni, I do think there are better 'keepers we could go for. Also I like the combination of Buz and Faurlin in the middle, they work well together and seem to have a good understanding.

speroni and clyne are only two we would need from palace..

ambrose wont add anything to our side we dont already have.

danns was okay but just couldnt see him starting for us on regular basis
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
                  Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"
