  • My 2p Worth From Yesterday...

    Still a bit hungover, but:

Ali Faurlin just gets better, he ran the show yesterday.

Ramage is limited as a footballer, but a top man, and had a blinder yesterday.
Had Serious Dave, Sulky Steve, or Stern John, or whatever his name is(?) in his pocket.
Having said that, I'm glad Alan Lee was injured, he was winning flick-ons and causing problems when he came on - but luckily only lasted 10 minutes.

Tosic was good, 100% better than Hill, or Borrowdale.

Leigertwood is far better at right back, Fact. Had a very good game.

Our support was fantastic, and a load of people from Penge waving plastic flags, and jumping up and down pretending to be Turkish didn't do it for me.
Ultras and Fanatics? Colourful, but a bit weird. Still, they seem to think it's fun and radical. Good luck to them.

    Neil Warnock.
Part of the reason he's so highly rated is his passion and honesty.
He spent nearly 3 years building that Palace side, so I totally understand his reluctance to celebrate and enjoy the day.
When he gets the feeling that this QPR team is HIS team, that'll soon change. Once he has steered us to safety (he has already IMO), then he can start to get the same connection for our club that he had at Palace.
That starts now we are safe, and he can start to build his QPR team.
I admire him for yesterday, all QPR and Palace fans should too... and move on.

Jay Simpson looks knackered, and that's understandable. He's worked his nuts off all season, and done well.

The little girl with the QPR shirt under the Palace shirt... comedy gold. Her dad should be very proud of her!

Just to repeat, Faurlin is one of the best players I've seen at Rangers for 15 years. And considering he's new to this country, and the whole culture of Championship football, and very young..... he should take a very long bow.
Workrate, skill, guts, decision making, vision, heading, CLASS.

Great day, and not one I expected.

I agree with the above and i do admire the way him and the back room staff handled the day. BUT he now needs to STOP talking about them now and move on, otherwise QPR will never feel his team, and fans will never feel his fans and we will all soon start getting fed up of it and start a split.

The games gones, he handled himself well, gained respect from both sets of fans now move on and foccus on us.
One for all.... and all for one

          Yep.

It's not ideal. He should have stopped to give the QPR fans a proper clap, but he probably couldn't get out of there fast enough.

But he must draw a line under Palace now, and I think he will - starting at 5pm yesterday.

Every time I looked at them, the same word popped into my head...WEIRD!
Don't really want them to go down, though.
Would rather forego the trip to the horrible Hillsborough, than a short hop down the road to the slummy Selhurst.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########
