Don't wish to put a downer on proceedings, but having not made the last few games I wanted to ask people about Simpson. Is he still not match fit or have the NW comments about loan players had an affect on him.

Yes i thinke he was not fit otherwise NW wouldn't put him on the bench. He had good half chance in the 2nd half and shouldn't have missed it.

Think is knackered as he has been our only striker for the full season andf has put in 100% every game, even when the others in the team werent (Him and Faurlin for me are the only contenders for POTS but Faurlin gets it from me necause hes ours).

I think if we played 442, and had a bigger preseants up front it would suit him, as it would allow him to run onto the flick ons, and have a little more freedom to run behind the defenders. When most of the season, teams only had him to mark and people like Morgan used to kick the pooh dongs out of him and as a result this is now taking its toll.
