Agree totally, Blackstock much better option than Adebola.

Don't think Adebola will now come anyway, we'll have to wait on Blackstock.

The way I see it is that Dexter can still say No to any move.
I know some think he is lazy but Dex scores goals.
Vine is now back and Buzz will be back for the New Season.

If the New Manager decides he wants to keep Dex but sign another striker then it could work out well.
Adebola will be a Free Transfer so not only will want a 2 year deal but will want Good Wages as well.

The way I see it is that Dex has scored 2 in 4 games since he left and is still Top Scorer at the Club.
I wouldnt get rid, unless we had someone better lined up.

Here's an answer. Due to the unrealistic expectation of the board and the incompotence of the sporting director.

It has also gone wrong for next season already, because the merry go round has to start again. Next season is going to be harder to get out of this division with the likes of Leicester possibly Leeds, West Brom, Middlesbrough and possibly Newcastle coming down. plus another 7 or 8 teams that will be gunning for the top 6 places. We would need to spend wisely to ensure we get the quality to compete. No one seems to know what they're doing. If we don't change that we'll finish lower next season than we are now.

So in your eyes, team was not good enough?

Would it have helped to play a consistent team and formation for every game?

Was it too much to ask a 19 year old from Italy to run the striking line all on his own?

            1) this season we have had an average championship team, and no team goes through a season without dips in form.

            2) it would have helped to have had a manager given the time to do the job, FB picked the managers, so that's his fault.

            3) what did flavio promise the loanee clubs that he would do with the players that he brought in ?

              2 You could be right

3 May have wanted Parejo to play, but certainly not De Carmine and Alberti under Sousa. Paulo, had a totally free reign on who he picked.

Adebola didn't impress when they played us a few weeks ago, in fact I thought he was pants

You asked where it went wrong this season. The crux of it is where I said. granted not everything else was perfect. But I believe the main reason was due to decision of the board and the sporting director. Sorry it's not the answer you want to hear.

Why oh why Pete? On a number of threads you have been asked about this. You have thus far refused to reply yet here you are again intimating things. Either answer the questions or drop this line. It really is quite tiresome.

Change the farkin record drummer boy. We were shi'ite before Sousa, we were Shi'ite with him, we've been shi'ite without him. The reason? No full backs, no strikers (of the fit, capable and experienced type) and no cover for our best players when they became injured.

Now whose fault is that? The guys with the purse strings, or the guy who is in charge of the purchases?

So the squad wasn't good enough then? Because if it was then we would have made the play offs!
