i thought Taarabt was going to cost 4.5.

that leaves 5.5 to buy another 8 players including Hooper, Ambrose, Simpson, Clyne, Speroni. Thats not going to happen.

I have a feeling the reporter hasnt thought this through very well.

Adel and Simpson will take nigh on half that budget IF we manage to sign them. Clyne and Speroni would both cost at least £1.5m each and Danns £1m with Ambrose at least £2m.

In fairness, that's not alot more than the £10m budget. Palace will still need to sell so easier to bargain with. Hooper may be tough to keep under £2m than we'd think but all in all, it's not complete nonsense to think it can be done.

I'm not saying it's definately going to happen boys and girls, but with a bit of bargaining and selling a few of the current lot to boost transfer funds I think it's very plausable.
