With the likes of Simpson and Taraabt returning to their parent clubs at the end of the season will we be left with a team fit to be called the 2nd XI?
The likes of Ramage, Gorkss, Stewart, Ephraim, Vine, Mahon etc aren't players who are going to win us promotion but they'd all make decent deputies. Because of Connolly's versatility even he hasn't come on as the quality centre back we all thought he would. Is Faurlin the only player that as a club we own who is good enough to play for a top 6 side?
After 3 years and 50+ transfers should we still be fighting for Championship survival? Shouldn't we have formed a squad good enough to rival the likes of WBA and Newcastle over 46 matches rather than a team who puts in the odd good shift if the month is October.
Forget Bosmans and multiple loans next season. Whichever division we start in we need our players fighting for our shirt!
