Would like to know the stats but I doubt a team that finishes in the bottom 5 have finished top 2 follwoing season or even in a Play off place. I think the league will be stronger next season, potential for more London Derbies and still we in the context of the championship we are not a well supported club, so revenue streams are limited.

I was actually more optimistic about this season at the start than I had been in the long term, but think mid table of the championship is best we can hope for, though that will be slight progression.

Thats not to say, as a club we are more stable and have the right people on board, just think its going take longer than a season to get it right.

forest finished 19th last year. it can be done. but with 8 decent new players. not fringe players of shite premier league clubs.

i dont expect premiership, i dont want that i want joung hungry players who have the fight, determination and desire to play in the premiership, theres a few good ones in our league in which we could get, hooper, maynard, danns, ambrose, kilgallon, soares,speroni,ebanks blake etc.

It totally depends on how much money the board will let Warnock have. The
standard of football in the CCC is poor, and it won't get any better next season. IF the board give him £10 million (which I seriously doubt) then any half decent manager could get us promotion with that, assuming Paladini is no longer involved in any way. We've got some talented players already, but we need a stronger spine to the side - it's not rocket science. NW should be able to pick up a few strong, quality players quite cheaply in the summer if we are paying decent wages, which I would assume we will be. You've only got to look at West Brom (no great shakes, we should have taken six points off them this season but going up all the same) to realise that it doesn't take a lot to get a promotion winning side together.

The problem with the side is that most of the players we brought in were the wrong players.... all of them are from 4/5 different managers and the others were put together by the previous chairman.... so yes that hasn't helped, however where there is muck there is gold, I think if we can add 5 quality players we have a good chance next season...

Pete the main problem with the side is the lack of goals and strikers... if we address that problem this summer then we have a good side.

fair enough Robbo but you still have me thinking on what 3 players from a starting 11 it should be. I think we need 9 as Conners and Faurlin are the only 2 worth any time.
