our current strikers are terrible. apart from Simpson none of them have a good record ever.

Vine - always been pony look at his stats for a striker
Priskin - Only seen him 3 times, 3 times to many
German - His young yes, but IMO not good enough to be a pro
Bent - hasnt been a regular scorer since 1999

Don't agree with that one at all mate. Young raw talent who has already bagged a couple of goals despite very limited minutes. Defo good enough and a good addition for the future.

At the end of the day he's a prolific scorer you can only score against what's in front of you. 10 in the championship?! Yea right I guarantee he would double what Simpson would get. Scores from all over the box and plenty with his nut, does Simpson score headers? No didn't think so either. But hey its all about opinions eh.

He scored loads in that league but not good enough for the championship is my point

I cant see why he already get slating by a good few on this messageboard. According to those who goes to some of the matches he is really one for the future.

I know its embarrassing Rev it really is...what do people expect a hat trick every game? from what i've seen of AG he is eager, he can jump, he knows where the goal is and best of all he is very YOUNG give the kid a chance people ffs mins to goals ratio he's doing better than Priskin the so called seasoned experienced pro!
