Secondly, some don't seem to grasp this. If your not given 2 million pound for a striker, you can only get a loan in. Thats what we done. Simpson was a good loan, Priskin and Bent are here because they are cheap and the previous owner gave up giving money for players about 12 months ago

I don't rate HH and I don't think he'd give us anymore effort than F0reskin but you're missing my point - it deprives Watford of a player. At the moment we are HELPING their fight to stay up!! Can you not see that????

Priskin is a much better option than Vine, better than German and with Balanta not getting a look in, can understand why he is starting

to be fair to the bloke he had his best game yesterday and i thought he did alright give him a chance hes a striker and most games hes been put out on the wing.
He had 2 or 3 good chances yesterday he gets into good positions and the keeper made a good save for the 1st and the other two maybe if he had some confidence he would of found the back of the net instead of the top of the bar and people moaning and groaning everytime he does something wrong cant help the lad.
With the team we have this season i would start him over vine anyday and he can certainly strike a ball , so just give him a chance you will all be raving about him if he scores in our next two games , people did the same with ikeme and now the majority agreed that he wasnt that bad afterall
so we shall see

no qpr fans wanted him, he was fobbed off onto us and has continually struggled, he had a better game but by previous standards, that's not hard.
i'd rather see german out there.

German is a raw kid. It showed at Preston, and it showed in the time he was on the pitch.
With us still needing the points to guarantee safety, it would be madness to start Antonio in any of the remaining games.
Now, I'm not saying Priskin is the be-all and end-all, but taking his experience into account, the fact that Vine has more chance of hitting a barn door than the back of the net, we are limited in options.

totally agree bushranger,now is not the time to give promising youngsters a go as experience is vital what with the situation we are in. i know priskin aint great but he is the best of a bad bunch & should be encouraged instead of being slated all the time,& as for the *****ic posters wishing he would break his leg then it just goes to show the mentality of some of our supporters who should be ashamed of themselves!!!!

I know its an unpopular view but personally I'd put Vine ahead of Priskin. At least he is ours and always give 100%. I think he's been a bit unlucky recently in his sub apps and just needs the rub of the green. Now shoot me down in flames

Think Vine has lost it myself.Lost his bottle as well since the leg break.Think people should face reality and face facts that he is not good enough.

Needs to drop down a division IMO.

Think many people are watching Vine through rose tinted specs.Although i have never really rated him ever.

Age is not relevant mate.He has proven himself to not be good enough at this level over the last year.He can't use the injury as an excuse for poor perfomances when he has been back over a year now.
