    Good write up Pete.

Lots of positives from what the players are saying. It's good to hear that the players want a Keane type, which says that they aren't afraid of having a manager who will give them what for when playing badly. All of the players should strive to be better, they should want to play in the Premiership and for them to achieve that they need a manager who gets what he wants out of them.

I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Good write up pete thanks for that!

In retrospect in regards to the player of the year do, ive carmed down abit now so i can look at it a little more logically. The thing about them booking dinner is abit odd! But if they were to turn around and just say "we left before alot of the fans got ******ed and asked awkward questions" i would be able to understand a little more.
Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...

So Ainsworth is going to do his badges in the Summer.

Does he have any coaching badges? Level 1? Level 2? UEFA B? UEFA A?

Which one is he going for?

So we have had a manager with no coaching qualifications over the 1st team squad on 2 occassions then!!!!

Dont get me wrong here, Im 100% a fan of Wild Thing but this is not ideal in a professional club.

Is this gonna put a hold on his Rock N' Roll career :victory:

Tell you what is evident from the write up. Is that Ainsworth also believes we need strikers. We are a few players being replaced to being a side near the top That he thinks we should build on our strong defence. Also Delaney also believes that a change in formations should be no excuse.

Why did people not want Sousa again? Oh yeah for the reasons I mentioned above. Seems like the players aren't blaming Sousa for what's gone wrong.

They did not comment on Sousa or Dowie to be honest, don't know how you can say they did. They didn't.

I do know Sousa had the opportunity to get this team into the play offs pre-Ipswich game. We were never going down !! So, it should have mean't we go all out for the wins, he seemed happy from where I was sitting to get the 0-0 draw. Don't blame strikers, two were on the bench for many home games

Anyway, thats another debate and not for this thread.

Pete, did you really expect sousa to get us into the playoffs this year, an inexperianced coach, who took over in November.
                      I know i didn't.
I thought he was an appointment, for the future of this club.
                      They seek him here.................

Nice one, Pete, Must say Delany impressed me at the POTY, he didn't look happy to be there but when promted for a photo and a chat he was more than happy to do it.
My old man said be a Rangers fan, I said,......OK.

Actually, both Rowly and Delaney said that last night.
Delaney pointed out that it was exactly that which got PS sacked, and the players don't want the sack. Rowly pointed out that, when the fans have had a few, it can lead to awkward questions and situations, and I got the feeling that the players were very wary of the POTY do.
After all, it isn't long since things got out of hand at one and Biggy ended up punching a fan? Rowly would remember that.

Oh, and I was impressed with all the players last night -- 3 diplomats and one brutally honest -- all creditable but in different ways.
They did have some awkward questions last night and handled themselves well.

Delaney has leapt up in my estimation in particular.

Cheers for that Pete, and others who were there, but can anyone remember what it was Delaney actually said that got him the applause? Or was it just in general his honesty overall.

And by the way, Joff, about Delaney looking miserable, must be just his expression, i met him playing golf a few weeks ago and he looked miserable then especially when told there were no golf carts left - pretty funny at the time.

Answer to the first question regards to the season.

he said it had been "disappointing" and not what anyone expected at the start of the season.
