Ok makes it a bit better than. But. Still to high for CCC! A couple of gifts like scarfs, which cost the club a couple of pounds to make, do not make up for it.

If all the costs were moved over ie Gold seats were the price of sivler, silver the price of bronze and bronze less than they are now - i think the fans would be a lot happier and would get a lot more people and would actually get to the 9k.

I suggest if you wanted to go upper loft, you might be much happier?

You are right, but, the prices are not going to be reduced if we go up because we play less games.

Hopefully if we went up we would see a price freeze or only a slight increase.

Alot of people miss the whole point of being a PL. Premier league clubs do not rely on the income from ticket sales as FL clubs do. That is a fact and that is why clubs like Fulham and Blackburn can charge lower prices than QPR (and there are 60million reasons for this each season, all covered in £ signs). In addition to this there is the added cost of being a London football club, which may surprise a few, that QPR is. Higher rates and higher salaries, not just the players but also admin staff etc., etc. In addition to this, if QPR do challenge for promotion and make a fair few costly signings during the summer then certainly some could say that we would be punching above our weight, certainly on the size of the club, and even though we are all pleased about the 'take over', we still ought to understand that the Mittals do not have to dig deep, maybe showing some commitment from the supporters would encourage them to go further but frankly if I was Amit Bhatia reading some of these comments I would be left scratching my head in wonder of what the supporters really want. In 2003-04, the season we won promotion my ST in the SAR was £399. I can by a ST in the SAR for this season for £469, an increase of £70, with the potential of the increase being as little as £44. For a far better class of football and for a ticket that has had 8 years of inflation added to it. According to inflation tables, my £399 2003-04 ST would now cost £478 to purchase. In 2003 we had a team that was high on effort and average on quality, hopefully come next season we could have a team to watch that is high on effort and high on quality. Finally, remember that you don't have to buy Gold or Platinum, there are more silver sections next season and you could of course join Pete in Bronze.

I wonder is the £2 per ticket member discount staying next season.? Ive probably saved the price of my membership this year buying tickets for myself and others. It was another small disincentive to buying a season ticket. If u take that into account on a per game basis it wouldnt make your season ticket as attractive.

Another good post but sadly the whingers will just carry on moaning. At the end of the day if you still can't afford to go then thats unfortunate and I do sympathise. However, if you are complaining for the sake of it, and not renewing on principal then do us all a favour and do it quietly.

As for 16-21 years olds moaning about paying half price, are you for ****ing real......get a job.

Does anyone know if ST holders will still get the 10% discount in the club shop? Was no mention of it on the offy.

End of the day if we'd have knocked a ton off each price some people would still have complained about the way the business was being run.

On the face of it this is a very placid price decrease considering how over-expensive they were this season. However it is quite obvious that the board have been trying to add as many extra incentives and bonuses as possible to sweeten the deal. In our situation that is all they can really do. Were not exactly making a massive profit as we are so how could any supporter justify a 20%+ decrease while still wanting a play-off push?

I reckon they have obviously applied some creative thinking and have sat down long and hard to decide what they could do for us without breaking the bank so hats off to them, most people will see a decrease in their existing ST prices and one or two marquee signings over summer could see a few returners.

One thing I will say (agreeing with a previous poster) is that if this transparent attitude is to continue, there needs to be a factual/statistical approach to these weekly updates. That means no sensationalism or vague statements and if we are not reaching the targets, the club need to be open about this and treat us as experts not idiots. At the end of the day we are the ones shelling out, they get their tickets for free.

Well done to the club. I think theyve done alright here.

I think its worth the gamble of getting one early. Believe we're going to be very active this summer and next season's team will be a promotion battling one.

                              Still over-priced IMO.

Different board, same stupid pricing strategy. Shame.
                              What's the common denominator?

Anyone care to look at Hearts season ticket structure from a few seasons back?

Step forward Conners!!! oops - Ali R

Whilst the pricing is understandable from a sustainable business plan, disappointing to see the divisive structure still there.

                                very true.

Don't like the various categories given

Should Loft, South Africa Road, Ellerslie etc etc

Its just the term Platinum, gold, silver , bronze that gets me.

Don't think Ali R has anything to do now with the season ticket pricing structure
