Was anyone else extremely impressed with Hogan on Saturday?

Took on the fullbacks to great effect and was direct with his running at the defence.

Hope he continues to play as i think he could be a real surprise package come next season.

I was very impressed with him in NW's first game in charge.

He looks hungrier and out to prove a point.

    I'm a fan.
    Your mum would love me...

I have been critical of him, but he is playing well. All over the park on Saturday, breaking things up. Completely different player to Cookie and you can see why especially away from home, Warnock is giving him the nod.

Was it Hogan who also impressed Sousa? Didn't he play him in an attacking role instead of out in the wing?

Or am I thinking of Balanta?

Another good thing about Hogan is his attitude. Never moaned or whinged about being out of the team just got his head down and got on with it. Prepared to go on loan to Leeds where he played well. Very mature attitude for a young guy.

He did play well but I wasn't impressed with the way he got involved with Wallace after that quick corner fracas. He really needed to walk away but he chose to get involved. At one point he leaned his head into Wallace and I was amazed that he didn't hit the deck clutching his face.
Overall, he was lucky he didn't get himself booked and I'm convinced the fracas/delay contributed to us going to sleep when the corner was eventually taken.
Still, that aside he did well - deserves a run in the team.
