Warnock likes to see players in the flesh but hasn't seen Tosic at all - but he came available and he now has a few games to assess him - that's roughly what Warnock has said about this loan
Odd one really but he knows he needs a left back next season, Tosic was available and is an option that he can assess early - decide if he's up to it or not and then move on?
Only guessing but that seems to be Warnock's preferred way of working.
Please shut up Blue hoop - your reply is far to sensible and logical. Now go away and think think about your replies please !!
This thread is classic, anyone else think NW is playing his cards close to his chest and someone has got the hump.
Yep and long may it continue.
If things go to plan and Warnock is left to manage, we may be able to associate the running of our club with the word 'professional' for the first time in, er, how long has GP been here?
As much as I enjoy reading the rumours on here, it is wrong that they are so often correct simply because their source is so obviously from within the club. I would love it if we signed someone completely out of the blue and that the Offish was, for the first time ever, 'First and Fastest'.
I just hope that when the source of information dries up, those involved in the conduit between those sources and this board do not start sulking and undermining the brave new world...
On the point about loan signings.
Adel and Jay aside...
Hill brought in when we have Borrowdale.Going from what I have seen and other fans opinions, Hill is not that much an improvement on Borrowdale.
Bent.....where is he???
Priskin.....what's the point.
Ikeme - again fans opinions divided...not a massive improvement.
Quashie - not a loan - but where the hell is he.
NW brings in Toxic and is questioned why?Think Bluehoop makes a good point about him.Once Safe, i expect to see him playing quite a few games for us.
Maybe the ex Sporting Director is realising how different his role is and is missing being the Sporting Director and is looking at ways to influence things ?
From that prespective you'll right, but if he does well in World Cup he won't stay here.
problem is we are one win from Safety and probably not needed
How do you know that? He may have already signed a pre-contract with us.
We may have an option to sign him permanently if he does well on loan. Warnock has already said he wants to have a look at him for next season.
A far better idea than our previous transfer policy, which consisted of signing players on the basis that they had a) played well against us in one game, b)
had a decent game on TV c) were on the books of one of Paladini's agent mates or d) Briatore knew their existing Club's chairman.
Has anyone one even considered the fact that if Swansea ( who have the best defence in the league) wanted him, he might be quite decent and more than able to do a job for us ?

exactly.played for werber bremen and plays for serbia so gotta be fairly decent.

Here we go again, another sensible post. Please join Bluehoop on the naughty step.Go away and stop posting replies that make sense.

Surprised there's been no comment on this little snippet in The Mirror today:
"Which Coventry City striker can expect a summer move to Championship rivals QPR as he is currently dating Loftus Road supremo Gianni Paladini's daughter?"

Paladini has no say in who comes and goes, so the player can shag away, as it means nothing to NW......... hopefully.

Tosic can play either left back or centre back and comes in as cover for two positions that we are very light wieght in. He is also IMO a better defender than anyone currently at the club. It would have been wrong to start him at Preston as he needs a bit of time to get to know the other players and thier style.
