Just the player we need and by the sounds of it is letting Warnock know he'd play for him.

With a reported £10 million war chest could we be about to go out an bring a player of this cailbre to the club?

M'boro had him on loan under Southgate with an agreed £3m price to buy in Jan.

However they changed managers and he went back to PNE, so im guessing they would still want £3m.

Not good enough with the ball at his feet or defensively.

Very good getting goals but i prefer my centre backs to be good defenders first off.

Middlesborough didnt rate him after his loan with view to buy move.

If Warnock is handed 10 mil, i think spending 3 on st Ledger is good business. He can make the step to Premier league too.

No, M'boro changed managers and Strachen went the Scottish route.

Yep, saw him last month for Ireland vs Brazil and he looked very composed and assured against top opposition.

Did he play in the 4-0 win at home?

I've been saying it for ages, St Ledger imo is pure class and one of my
                          fav players in the Championship
                          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

I remember some documentary following the POSH manager at the time. SSL came across as a whiney, arrogant, self-centered prima-donna.

                            Should fit right in!

I'm sure he's matured by now, on and off the pitch.
