Paulo Sousa's sacking & Gianni Paladini's free reign to do whatever he wants.

So FB's meddling, GP's role as Sporting Director, AR's pricing structure and the player power that was allowed to thrive within the changing room had nothing to do with it. The season started on August 8th 2009 not January 1st 2010.

              Don't tell anyone thought
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

Went wrong pre season with a failure to invest properly in the team and replace blackstock camp and deleaney.

slowish start then a good spell then as pointed out earlier wheels came off big time at Leicester and that showed the rest of the league how to deal with us, we were gone as a promotion force before magilton got sacked, dont blame poor old Hart
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks

There are a whole host of reasons, some football and some behind the scenes, all firing off at differing times of the season. Ultimately the biggest problems were Briatore's interference and too many loan players, coupled with a truly unbalanced squad. Add in too many managers and no money spent on player TRANSFERS and you have a relegation fight on your hands.

The club must be praised for dealing with the problems before the end of this season byt bringing in a no nonsense manager with real Championship experience, managing at the right end of the division!

Presenting a shortlist of managerial candidates to the Board that included a non achieving, violent and unstable bully. The rest was inevitable.
