It says he will sign until the end of the season, but I thought Warnock said at the weekend that he was not going to sign anyone on a short contract, but only players for the long term ? Or does that only apply to loans ?
maybe see how he does and if he impresses give him a permanent deal at the end of the season. as someone pointed out he hasn't played much so no harm in forcing him to earn a longer contract. if he doesnt pan out then bring on tommy spurr...
think it's with a view to a perm. was probably only allowed to sign him short term initially. if you listen to NW's last conference he said from now on he wants all signings to be long term; and better news still he's saying that he wants to take responsibility for all future contract negotiations too.
