In the upper school end lst night

Thanks to a mate me and his nibs took advantage of the freebie
offer last night and sat in the upper school end. I reckon there was around
500/600 up there and I found it a rather enjoyable experience if truth be
told. Good view, not too bad leg room etc. I visited the ladies before kick
off and what a state they're in. Creepy crawlies all over the place, peeling
paintwork, toilet that didn't flush too well. Still at least there was hand
basin in there which according to Leon is more than the gents had in one of
the cubicles up there as he was saying there were adverts about being alert
regarding prostate cancer and the importance of washing hands etc and yet
there was no basin in sight lol.

Still, that was his only moan of the night and he enjoyed the evening saying
how he'd been looking forward to it all day at work as it was his first
visit to mecca since boxing day. A very strange game mind. I said to him
after that first 20 minute period that we would rue not taking advantage and
so it turned out to be the case. Top chant from the rams fans of "we forgot
that we are sh1t" towards the end of the first half. And good old Rangers
fans (of which the majority were up there) even on a freebie they were
booing at the end

I had my future son in law with me and although we had a good view from the school end, there was really no atmosphere so i would have like to have taken him to my usual place in the upper loft amongst R's.
He thought the game was ok but obviously noticed a big difference in the type of football that is played in the Championship to what hes used to seeing in the prem with Everton (poor guy), (who knows maybe i'll convert him).

So we are operating a 'sit anywhere you want for free' policy now.And what happens when you are sitting somewhere that someone has a ticket for?.

I've tried a few things, I've got two Grandchildren now and said I'll buy some baby QPR clothes but he wasn't too happy. I will not be defeated though and will convert them all.

maybe next meet with fans grps..meet earlier and we tour ground, pointing out faults,problems,bogs,facilities...from our side.
i have been in ciprianis bit for quiz night and it was superb.
