I am really losing patience with Vine the way he lost the ball every single time is disgraceful.

If you are a doctor and you get shown up by an intern, that is seen as shameful. German was trying to do the job of 2 when he came on and Vine is still doing that stupid 'i f*cked up again' grin. Get rid Warnock he's really not worth the hassle.

Vine looked a lot sharper to me last night than he has done since his injury. He looked hungry and was willing to chase the ball down. That's something you'll NEVER see with Priskin. Vine played quite a few good passes lastnight too, so that tells me his awareness and vision has began to return.

We have all seen 1st hand what Vine is capable of and I refuse to believe he won't get back to where he was. It took Cook quite some time and he's looking much better now. Be patient with the lad. He deserves it.

I agree 100%.Viney's trying hard to get back to what he was.Wears his heart on his sleeve and always the first to shake hands with ALL the other players when they come off after a game where he's be kept on the bench.Can't see priskin doing that.His body language is all wrong and doesn't appear to want to be here.When was the last time he smacked the bar with a raking shot like Vine did last night.Give Vine a chance.Had a terrible injury and most of us thought he was our most effective player before the injury.

I can't actually remember their team putting a tackle in on him simply because he was so desperate to give the ball away, whether it was to one or our players or not. I sympathise with his injury but we are not a charity and we can't afford passengers. Meanwhile priskin gets ridiculed for every last touch.

He's entitled to be, wearing boots like that.You've either got to be 1) very good at what you do or 2)have the skin of a rhino or 3) b*lls of steel, and IMHO,he's not very good, in fact he's not good at all.

at the end of the day, we know what vine can do. Cook was not good last year either, but is now coming back to his best. Give vine a chance - at least he gives his all, and imo hes improved over the last couple of games.

Silly thread pal. Think everyone on here would probably agree that they'd prefer a player who run his socks off but has no end product compared to a player who don't run his socks off and ALSO has no end product.
