About 30 mins in rangers had a throw inside our half on ellerslie road side. Savage was tight to adel and someone shouted '**** off robbie you ******' he turned and said 'he's hardly had a kick all night has he' and nudged adel who wasn't impressed!
Savage done a job on him last night. If he'd have been rightly booked for pulling him down in the first half then it would of been a different game altogether.

        Fair play to him.
Spot on. I'm not a great fan of Savage but he kept Taarabt quiet for most of the game and that's not easy. By doing that, he won his team a point as Adel is our most dangerous player. And put it this way - had we had Savage in our midfield, and they had Leigertwood, we would have won easily last night.

Oh you mean the 6 or 7 times he nutmeged him or the 6 or 7 times he beat Savage then Savage fouled him or maybe a few minutes from the end when he beat him then hit a shot which hit the crossbar

Vine had the shot that hit the bar.

                Savage was excellent last night.

Very professional and used all his experience. Obviously has no pace but put in the bursts when needed (as he did at Pride Park when chasing down Adel for 3/4 length of the pitch). Excellent leader too.

We could do with a similar player in the middle.

Adel nutmegged him 6 or 7 times?

I see him mug him once...Savage kept him quiet the rest of the game.

Good guy who enjoys his football.

savage is shyte no doubt about it
the only way he had adel in his pocket was when he was wrapping his legs round him hugging him gripping his shirt etc
the guy spent ten minutes of the game talking to the ref deliberty distracting him so derby could time waste
they came out from the second half time wasting to break up our play that was there tactic to hold taarabt into a corner savage and mcclevery were man marking
savage jeered at the qpr fans when he scored
hes what make profes football players look like mugs

dont think it was just adel who was quiet last night. Even if we had Ronaldo and Ronney playing, they would not be able to do anything with the ball being hoofed backwards and forwards to nobody. It was dire football, beyond belief.

Savage had a lot of help from the other Derby players to try and keep Taarabt quiet. Yes he followed him everywhere, but he could never have kept him quiet on his own. Whenever Taarabt got the ball he was quickly surrounded by three players, so no Robbie, you didn't have him in your pocket !!!

Disagree. Savage had Taarabt's number from about the 5th minute. He was MoM by a country mile. Very intelligent play all night.
