Players don't want to spend any time with the senior management of the club. Treatment of Vine/Ephraim probably uppermost in their minds along with those who had the utmost respect for Sousa.

Regrettable that those supporters who went and paid for expensive tickets were inconvenienced but you really wouldn't want to be around your employer(s) if they were majorly peeing you off either.

    My "opinion" anyhow

      e 4 hoop

e 4 hoop how it is to do with bad management is that a proper manager would tell the players that people pay a lot of money to come and talk to the players
those players were bang out of order disapearing with out getting photographed
last year everyone had photos of the players this year knowone has even posted one photo yet
mind you really ainsworth should have given the players a lecture because he knows how important it is to see the player from the fans point of veiw

            Posted by Scott:
"Alberti, Cerny, Gorkss, Balanta and especially German (who skipped the club and stayed late), they all really really made an effort. Cook..."

Ah, so, along with Ainsworth, we now know who's likely to be the "some of the players" at the loyalty evening on Monday.

I can really understand why the players are pi$$ed off with the club, but they seem to hav forgotten that the fans have, and always will be, there for them.

Perhaps the booing doesn't help, but that is still a minority, and I've no doubt many who were there last night don't boo anyway.

At times like this it REALLY show how far the club has come since the days of Ollie -- and in respect of fan/club relations, it is a massive deterioration.
(In fact, compare our league position and points total for 2004-5, first season back in the CCC, and you could argue that the playing side has come nowhere either.)

I think you're missing DFE's point e4hoop, I would read it again to understand where he is coming from.

I had a good night last night, although i agree with ya Scott real shame the players ******ed off so dam early!! Gotta say though Cook, Ainsworth, Ephraim, Vine, and Alberti all top top lads. Had a really good chat with Ephraim and Alberti both were really nice lads, (Ephraim is a man u fan though!) Not sure what thats about!

IMO it was Wayne Routledge and Leigertwood who were the worst!! By a country mile! Really dissapointed me! I asummed Routledge would be like that to be honest, but not Leigertwood. They were sat on a bench for a while which was well out the way of people drinking so you had to walk over to them, neither could be arsed to get up and say hello, and when chatting both seemed pritty annoyed they have to go to Bahrain! Leigertwood said he couldnt wait for the season to finish, and Wayne just sat there trying his best to look like Kanye West!! The pair of them really dissapointed me.

On a brighter note Rodney Marsh did a good job presenting and was also one of the latest person there having pictures and what not.

I guess they would have left early anyway, but maybe they were a tad ****ed of with the **** poor lap of honour after the match!

It's simple, we have a squad of players most of whom do not want to be at this club, Had a nice chat with Peter Rammage, Damian Delaey and Rowly, and they summed it up for me, they just want to be left alone to get on with their football, but there is to much interferance from upstairs.
Still had a good night though.
My old man said be a Rangers fan, I said,......OK.

far cry from the days or bircham, gallen, thomson et all chatting in the bar to supporters well after the dancing and music had finished.

be careful what you wish for is i guess the message here. the more highly paid mercenary players we bring into the club the more distant they will become from the supporters.

Even so they should be made to do a professional job at a function like the poty do its part of thier job.

Having said that if we cant get them to pass a football in a straight line effectively what chance improving thier customer service skills!

What time did these players actually leave. having booked taxis is hardly an excuse , you can always order another taxi.
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks

Routledge looked disinterested on the pitch yesterday, every time he didnt get the ball he moaned. Very poor attitude for the whole of y'day from him it seems.
