George santos what a terrible player he was.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Furlong was a scapegoat early doors.
Too often injured and missed a few few "sitters", when he did play.
Respect that he turned it round.

Ferdinand also struggled to start with.
Anyone who witnessed one of his first (debut ?) games at Peterboro in the Cup (Samson og ?) will recall crowd comments. Many thought he was blind in one eye !
Took a loaN to Turkey to kick start his career.

Scapegoats that never Improved ? Far too many to mention.

Ernie Howe - never turned it round. But then he couldn't turn full stop.

Bob Hazel did tho - total liability early on but became so good he even kept six foot two out of the team for a while.

Adel Taarabt - Over rated as he was liability to start with. Looks too hot to handle now.
Lee Cook - Bot on his 1st and second spells with us. Never looked too great but both times it seems he's found his feet.
Radek Cerny - Ok, he seems to have taken a backstep going by his performances at the start of the season, but he was outstanding last term. It took him ages to change the narrow minds of the Lee Campophiles.

Damion Stewart - Still pony IMO. POTY still makes me cringe.

I could go on forever with the rubbish, but I have work to do.
          Your mum would love me...

Poor Ernie. Taking over from McLintock was going to be a thankless task to whoever got it. Shame Needham was flogged to Forest so quickly after he was bought. He was quality.

Cheers mate, don't get me started on the whole Needham thing....

Never forget Ernie refusing to give me his shirt after an away game at Shrewsbury....

Gorkss last season. Target of the boo boys early on, as he played better away from home than at LR. I remember him being immense away at Norwich that year. First or second name on the team sheet now.

also Mahon...Just cos he aint pretty. Didn't change his game but fans eventually warmed to him.
