As I've said time and time again this is what Warnock does best. It will irritate some but to me it is brilliant management. Pick a player again and again and again and give them the opportunity to impress or fail. If and when Priskin is dropped, Warnock cannot be accused by the player or the fans that Priskin hasn't been given an opportunity. Once he is dropped it will be very difficult for the player to get back in. The reverse of this is that you also allow players to have ample opportunity to succeed. None of this in and out of the side every other game which was happening with Harford, Hart and other managers before him.

This arguement works somewhat, but in the long run Priskin is not our player and I highly doubt he'll sign for us in the summer with this kind of form. Watson was underperforming and we didn't bother going in for him after his loan. Surely it would make more sense to get German and Balanta up and running in this division to develop them for next season. Priskin has had plenty of chances to impress and has yet to put in a decent shift.

I'm not angry that Warnock seems to continue picking him, but I think we have better options available and a good opportunity to finally start bringing some decent youth players into the first team, something that Warnock has done while at Palace with the likes of Clyne, Moses and Scannell.

I'm totally in favour of that style of management the only problem is Priskin is not our player and its very unlikely that we would ever sign him therefore why keep selecting him?

I don't disagree but maybe Warnock wants to make sure that there is absolutely no doubt in his mind that he shouldn't sign Priskin permanently. I'd rather have a manager who makes us question him because he is being consistent with his team selection than a manager who is changing it every match because he can't work out what his best XI is.

2 months ago I would have done anything for us to have just 1 bad player in the side because as we all know we have half a dozen of them.

How can you compare Priskin to a fish. And more to the point at least Carp give a bloody good fight and battle all the way into the keepnet. I've seen dead fish put up more effort than that ****!

In all seriousness I'm sitting on the fence here. I am SURE there is some sort of clause with Priskin having to play a certain amount of time/games if fit. In my eyes he's had a chance now, he can't cut the mustard and now we must move on. Why develop a player for competitor over trying to bring our own players on. I totally agree with trusting Warnock but it is VERY CLEAR to see the guy just don't give a sh1t!
