Nugent was great at Preston. However, he has not played much or has done well since he had moved to Portsmouth and Burnley. I am not sure If he can find his Preston form because he had a lot of help from midfielders. It maybe good to have him only If we have good mifielders who can feed him. He is finisher, not a skilful striker who we can rely on to create opportunities like Simpson.

It's been a while since he was successful at Preston. Been playing well for Burnley but still not contributing goals.

Could he rediscover that form back in the CCC? I think he could. Would he come to us? Depends on what we are prepared to pay and if he isn't adverse to playing in the capital.
