it's laughable that you think it's laughable....or something.

The player is quality and will only get better. He will add goals and he will improve with better forwards that make smart runs.

Sometimes players are stiffled by lack of like minded thinkers and skill around them.

His 1st 5-10 didn't impress me. Apart from his passing, he looked lightweight and lacked bite.

Since then, his game has improved immencely and he's by far the best of any of the overseas 'superstars' we've signed of recent. The lad seems to have it all, bar clinical finishing, but I'm sure, given time he'll contribute goals as well as assists.

The problem we have it that we will always lose our star players while playing championship football.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

The only real draw for him to go there is European Football, and even then Celtic are minnows in those competitions at the moment. If he has any sense, he'll stay put, keep improving and see if the Mittals do invest in the team and bring stability to the club. To keep moving after one season is not always the best thing for a youngster's development.

Can you imagine an Argentinian in the Scottish winter!! haha

Scottish football is carp and I cant see why any young player with a future would think twice about going there.

At least the Mirror seems to buy the idea that he cost £3.5m. If that's the starting point for negotiations...

I'm not saying he'll go by the way.

Just that I think he'd easilly be successful in the SPL.

Playing for celtic in Scottish prem is an improvement on us in championship. But, as a young ambitious player, I would have thought being at a club that should be in promotion shake-up next year, it’s better to be with us. Being in the premiership will be his main aim imho.

Faurlin gets praise and rightly so for his performances. But we should also remember that he’s not always been a regular (mostly he has I agree) but he’s been shoved out on the left in a few games and been dropped, yet he’s done so without complaint and performed to a high level in majority of games. Also good to see that he’s improving all the time.

He is the kind of player that Warnock will mould into a superstar. I dont know why but I would like to see Watson and Faurlin in the middle for QPR after a pre season with Warnock.

I do not think playing 4-10 hard games a season is an improvement to the Championship, where there are 40+ hard games.

Yes that would be an excellent pairing...though him and rowly would be good too.

Alejandro has settled nicely in the London area and has found a nice Argentinian community here as well. Just cannot see him tossing that aside to play SPL football and one Champions League qualifier game (if that!).

Celtic are not the draw they once were and as for the quality up there, Robbie Keane, who couldn't buy a goal and had trouble making Spurs bench has gone up there and scored bundles.

The Championship has a higher standard of football than the SPL - by a distance.

I love watching Rowlands play for QPR and I hope I'm wrong but I can't see him coming back from his latest injury and if your honest, Vine and Buzz have not been the same since theirs.

2 from Watson, Faurlin, Legsofwood and Mahon for me next season.

All I can say is, it's just as well Briatore is not in charge anymore. I think the new guys will want to keep hold of our better players, and indeed they will no doubt improve the squad in the summer.
