Can i just say that, what was achieved yesterday was a major step in the right direction and well done to all those involved, and long may it continue. This would`nt have happened under Flavio, although i was hoping for a bit more in regards of the Season ticket prices and the banding,as on two seperate occasions over the last 3 weeks, once by Gianni and the other by Amit,we were assured that information would be given shortly, and i pressumed the meeting to be an ideal oppotunity to divulge this.Hence my "if,buts and maybe`s"comment.I`m sure there is about 3000 lapsed ST holders waiting with bated breath, along with myself for some good news.

The only way the club are going to get more bums or seats is to lower the prices.

Which means getting those "dis loyal " fans back to the club who were priced out by Flavio et co.

Sharpy, I'm sure we were probably about 10 days away from knowing. This meeting may have delayed it a little.

These guys have been in respective roles for 3 weeks and maybe did not know all the ins and outs. Would loved to have revealed St prices, but we won't bhave to wait long.

Well done to Steve Russell too, made some very good points. Can I suggest thanking him on his site, as well. he might miss it on here.

                      cheers

Although thinking back to all the moaning about Platinum, Silver and Bronze haven't we always had different prices for different stands/blocks but just without naming them Platinum, Silver etc ?
We did for a number of seasons, but I think these stopped when QPR went down to the 3rd tier and were in administration. The important thing at the time was to keep the fans coming in, so prices were dropped and we all the same price, except for concessions.

Poty of the year do, Amit apologised for that.

Said they had no real leadership. Ainsworth was a nice guy but couldn't really demand players stay. Some of players were young ( don't buy that as German one of the youngest was the most polite of them all), but mistakes made last year, would not be made again

Players should be made to stay or face a two week fine.

The fans pay a lot of money throughout the season supporting the club and more to attend these evenings so the least these overpaid players can do is stay for 3 or 4 hours and chat with the fans.

I actually agree (unless of course they have a perfectly valid reason, of course.

Upper and lower loft seemed they wanted to encourage an atmosphere

( sure Joe didn't mean the no-show comment like the the way it was perceived)
That has to be the priority, because unless QPR can get 15,000+ for almost each game, the club is going to struggle to make ends meet.

The extra fans will not only generate more cash, but hopefully noisey support that helps QPR win more games and challenge for promotion. This will in turn increase income even further.

That goes without saying. Obviously having a medical emergency, domestic issues etc would be an acceptable reason for not attending or leaving early. However, leaving early to go to a club or just because they are bored, is not.

It should be like some part of their job description to attend club events and make appearnaces at local charitable & good causes events etc.
