Yeah he is, hes 23 and to be eligible players had to be under 21 at the start of the season.

Simpson has been professional all season?
          Simpson's not our player though.

Mark Kennedy "won" POTY in 1998 but club refused to give it to him as by that point he'd been returned to Liverpool and sold to Wimbledon.

The player doesnt have to have a perminent contract at the football club to win the POTY or YPOTY.

Its the individuals choice to not vote for him, if thats what they wish.

He puts in more work and shows more heart than most of "our" players anyway.

No disrespect to Saffa, but I know many many other supporters who come from a far greater distance - some of those gave up sleep to rattle the buckets and walk to Brentford back in the day. Just because they don't come on the message boards doesn't mean they are any less of a fan.

                  But he's not our player!

I suppose he could be Arsenal FC's loan player of the year?

Not saying that at all, but he comes a long way to go to games. If there is someone who is more dedicated then it can be them but it was just a suggestion

Ok, if thats your reason not to vote for him then fine.

I'll vote for the player who IMO deserves to win.

I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles
