Would banning The Stirrers Benefit this Board??

It's not so much the stirrers that bothers me we do after all have an ignore facility on this site, but the people that constantly go on about the same subject and bring nothing else to this board.

The Paldinooo's Terry Balls, tend to bore the hell out of me.

They make there point regarding GP around 20 times a day.

I understand there reasoning I'm not a big fan of Ali Russell but the constant snipeing I find rather childish and pathetic.

I find the rumours and constant banging on about the ITK boring and pathetic, so i just don't bother to reply.

The only thing that really should be an issue is if posters start abusing each other on here.If you abused someone in real life...chances are you would get a slap.But it's easy to hide on here.

And why not, it's the best way.I do see a messageboard as a place to let off steam, but quite expect that my views what ever they may be, will be different from others.If they were the same....i wouldn't come on a messageboard.

Just think some people like to moan more than others..Hey it's their lives, i tend to step back once the moaning gets out of control , although in real life conversations - i quite like getting stuck into serious debates.But then face to face, you can actually guage whether you opponent is being serious or just a total wind up merchant.

No need to exclude the stirrers, surely? Everyone has an ignore button don't they.

Within the stirrings (?) some people do make a valid contribution. A reminder on how that is phrased and couched is probably the best way forward. IMO

I love the way those who have a difference of opinion are classed as "Stirrers",and the others come across as all Sanctamonious,as if they have issues with what is wrtten and climb aboard there moral high horse.It`s like talking to someone with thier fingers in thier ears whilst they constantly hum la la la la.If you object to challenging topics of conversation,join a more suitable discussion forum.
As posted above if the likes of Terry ball and w12 are removed from posting,this would be a poorer site for it.

Debate is fine and we all want that but for going on and on about the same thing get's boring, some members no longer post or visit because the fun gets taken away.

We need to find a balance where we can have debates without some taking it to far and we can all read what the members are doing and take it from there.

I'd rather remove some members from this board if it means new fresh faces coming in to discuss QPR.

Agreed MYU,finding the balance could be hard to find though.I think this thread might have done some good,all by itself,maybe one or two posters might have had a wake up call,and will take a long hard look at themselves in the mirror.
