i voted no, but thinking now maybe i should have voted yes... i guess it depends on how much of a stirrer they are. i mean there a few on here that stir no doubt, but also make some interesting posts and sensible posts at times. but there are a couple others, no names need to be mentioned, that every post they seem to make is just pure negative and they seem to take great joy in trying to stir or start on someone.

FYI - Before i asked report to close my account down i compiled a dosier of over 100 - 150 libelous / insulting posts towards me and others
Report was confronted with these allegations and his moderators quickly took down the sticky "allegation statement from HA9" as he realised they had edited what i alledged
anyway thats water under a bridge now and if you want to discuss it further start a new thread or pm so i can show you myself as this thread is going off topic and i dont want to be accused of hijacking
Just a question as it seems where ever you post people react to you in a negative manner and its clear you are not very well liked.
If people reacted to me in the way they do you I probably would give up but you continue to invite it, is really worth it?

The problem with MB's is your cyber alter ego is representative off you and whilst you may be a decent fella in person you will not be judged on that if people haven't met you.
Maybe you're not trying to wind everyone up now but its gone so far people think thats all you do.

I have taken countless insults and abuse over the years on message boards (deservedly so in some cases) and still do even on a couple I don't or cannot post on but at the end of the day I like to think its just confined to the Internet and nobody out there would really wish any harm on a fellow QPR fan
We may disagree with each other but as I have said before as long as it does not become racist or threatening etc then I see no reason for anyone to be banned
I still maintain that even though I would not be able to fight my way out of paper bag if I saw any QPR fan in trouble at Loftus Rd or at an away game I would try and help them regardless if we had differing views about the club or had spats on a message board and I would like to think that ultimately because we all support the same team we would all do the same.

1) We need to tackle thread hijacking, that is unquestionable.
2) But my suggestion is not to be drastic,
don't ban troublemakers permanently,
give the person a week/month off and then another chance.Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:
http://kirillqpr.blogspot.com/
How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

I really don't care. There are people on here that quite clearly have agenda's.Agenda's with posters on here, the current board,ex managers etc.And that is from both sides of the fence.
This board is ridiculed by other boards but gets more posters than others.
I posted a thread the other day about an Ex QPR players(well played with Ferdy but didn't make the first team) now drinking in my local.Thought it might be interesting, but got no replies.Personally not bothered, but had i entitled the thread GP is a knob or Sousa is a knob....the thread would have gone on like this one for years.
It's a messageboard people - grow up.Post messages, debate disagree agree stop all acting like spoilt brats if you don't get your own way.
Of course, you can just ignore people if you don't like what they say.
As for the stirrers...Ha9 Conners,Merry Ploughman Captain Clunge...even Pete...who cares? That adds spice and bit of fun.You can just ignore them. They just want a bite.
The only thing which should be outlawed is persona abuse. That's just cowards behind a keyboard.Last edited by Spencer; 15-03-2010, 10:41 AM.
